Dr. Kyle Lapidus
Dr. Kyle Lapidus, the founder of Affective Care directly provides or oversees care and treatment in New York State; he works closely with your providers to guide treatment in other locations. After receiving his BA magna cum laude from Harvard University, Dr. Lapidus earned his MD and PhD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency in psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Icahn School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition to his extensive clinical experience with mood, anxiety, and attentional disorders, Dr. Lapidus has particular clinical expertise in the management of treatment-resistant depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Moreover, Dr. Lapidus has extensive training and experience in both pre-clinical and clinical research on psychiatric illness. As demonstrated by multiple scientific publications, Dr. Lapidus has performed pioneering studies related to treatment development for neuromodulation, ketamine, oxidative stress, and other novel approaches to improving patient outcomes and mental health.
